Liberty University has grown to be the largest Christan University in the world. However, the institution did not become that way overnight. Instead, it took the hard work of many and the leadership of Jerry Falwell to cause this vision to come to fruition. Regardless of the names the school went by: Lynchburg Baptist College, Liberty Bapist College, or finally, Liberty Unversity, the school needed housng for its residential students.
